Average age of team members 27 years

The fourth team we introduce is the team Hrímnir / Export hestar. This team has the youngest riders in the league but the average age is 27 years. Hrímnir first participate in the leaugue 2010 and Export hestar joined the team in 2012. The team won the team cup in 2011. Sigurður Óli Kristinsson and Ólafur Andri Guðmundsson have left the team and Helga Una Björnsdóttir and Kári Steinsson has joined it instead. Other team members are Eyrún Ýr Pálsdóttir, Hanna Rún Ingibergsdóttir and Þórarinn Ragnarsson

Eyrún Ýr Pálsdóttir, team leader, has graduated as a trainer and riding instructor from Hólar. Eyrún has gotten good results in competitions but she won the A class at Landsmót 2016 in Hólar, riding Hrannar frá Flugumýri II and also became Icelandic Champion in five gait 2015.

Hanna Rún Ingibergsdóttir it's the second term for Hanna Rún in the Champions league. She graduated as a trainer and riding instructor from Hólar 2015. She works at Kirkjubær and she has gotten good results on the competition track.

Helga Una Björnsdóttir is studying at Hólar University. She has gotten a good results both at the competition and the breeding track. Helga Una set a world record when she showed Sending frá Þorlákshöfn in 2015 but Sending got 8,64 in total score, which is the highest score a four gaiter has gotten in a breeding show. Helga Una is also the Icelandic champion in 100m. pace race on Besti frá Upphafi.

Kári Steinsson works as a trainer at Miðás in Ásahreppur. He was elected the gæðingarider of the year in 2015 and has been doing good things on the competition track these last years. He has one two Landsmóts titles one when he was a young rider riding Tónn frá Melkoti and the other one on in breeding show riding María frá Feti.

Þórarinn Ragnarsson graduated as a riding instructor and trainer from the University at Hólar. Þórarinn works at Vesturkot and has gotten good results both in breeding shows and competitions. He won the A class gæðingar at Landsmót 2014 riding Spuni frá Vesturkoti and was in the A finals in tölt at the same Landsmót riding Þytur frá Efsta-Dal II. Þytur and Þórarinn also won the ice tölt “Þeir allra sterkustu” in 2014. Þórarinn was selected as the gæðingarider of the year in 2014.
