Changes made to team Hrímnir / Export hestar
Hrímnir first participate in the league 2010 and Export hestar joined the team in 2012. The team came in second in the team cup in 2011 but won it in 2019. There has been some changes made to the team but Viðar Ingólfsson and Siguroddur Pétursson are still in the team, new riders are Arnar Bjarki Sigurðsson, Flosi Ólafsson and Fredrica Fagerlund.
Viðar Ingólsson, team leader, works at Kvíarhóll, Ölfus. He is a multiple Icelandic champion and winner of Landsmót in tölt. He has been doing great things on the competition and the breeding track these last years. He was elected the sport rider of the year in 2008 and gæðinga rider of the year in 2007. Viðar won the individual competition in the champions league in 2007 and 2008.
Arnar Bjarki Sigurðsson graduated as a riding teacher and trainer from the University at Hólar. He has been competing alot over the years, including being in the Icelandic national team. Arnar works at Sunnuhvoll and is also a judge for breeding evaluation.
Flosi Ólafsson graduated as a riding teacher and trainer from the university at Hólar. He works in Hafnarfjörður. He was quite young when he started getting good results on the breeding and competition track, he a.o. showed Forkur frá Breiðabólsstað when he was the highest jugded 5 year old stallion at Landsmót 2016.
Fredrica Fagerlund graduated with a Bs degree in riding and teaching from the University at Hólar. She has been riding horses since she was a kid. After she finished styding at Hólar she began teaching there but for the last years she has been training horses at the horse club Hörður in Mosfellsbær and also teaching both in Iceland and abroad. Fredirca has been competing and a.o. got great results in the Vesturlandsdeildin last winter.
Siguroddur Pétursson trains horses at Hrísdalur at Snæfellsnes. He has been successful on the competition track these last few years riding Steggur frá Hrísdal and Hrynur frá Hrísdal. Siguroddur participated in the Vesturandsdeild for the last two years and won the individual competition 2017. He also won the four gait at a tournament called the Champion of Champions in 2016.
