One change for team Hestvit/Árbakka

Introducing the second team - Hestvit / Árbakki. It has changed very little from last year but Jóhann Kristinn Ragnarsson has joined the team instead of Ólafur Brynjar Ásgeirsson. Other team members are Hinrik Bragason, Hulda Gústafsdóttir, Gústaf Ásgeir Hinriksson and Jóhanna Margrét Snorradóttir, a true family team.

Hinrik Bragason, team leader, is a trainer and a riding instructor at Árbakki. Hinrik has won many Icelandic,- World,- and Nordic championships titles. He has also been showing horses with good results. Hinrik waon the A class at Landsmót 2011 and was elected the gæðinga rider of the year 2011. Hinrik was been a member of the Icelandic national team several times, last at the WC 2013 where he competed in tölt on Smyrill frá Hrísum.

Gústaf Ásgeir Hinriksson is a very successful rider considering his young age. He has won multiple Icelandic championship titles and won the young rider class at Landsmót 2014 and 2016. He is the son of Hinrik and Hulda. He has competed on three WC in young riders class and became the world champion in four gait riding Pistill frá Litla-Brekka. At last WC, 2019 in Berlin, he competed for the first time as an adult and ended in A finals in five gait riding Sproti frá Innri-Skeljabrekku.

Hulda Gústafsdóttir is a trainer and riding instructor at Árbakki. She also runs the exporting company Hestvit with her husband Hinrik. Hulda has won many Icelandic,- and Nordic championships titles and has been in the icelandic national team many times. Hulda is the sport rider of the year 2016 in Iceland after great results that year, i.a. she was the Icelandic champion in four gait and five gait. 

Jóhanna Margrét Snorradóttir graduated as a riding teacher and trainer from the University at Hólar in 2018. She works as a trainer and riding teacher at Árbakki. Jóhanna has gotten good results on the competition track and was selected as the most promising rider in 2015. She ended in second place in T2 at the WC riding Stimpill frá Vatni og won the teenage class at Landsmót 2011 riding Bruni frá Hafsteinsstöðum.

Jóhann Kristinn Ragnarsson graduated as a riding instructor and trainer from Hólar and now he works at Pula. Jóhann has gotten good results on the competition and breeding track for the last years. Jóhann competed for the team as a wild card last year and won the PP1 pace test.
